Update: PROJECT CLOSED but you can check out some of the results here.

I seem to have a lot of postcards. When I was a kid, I used to get a postcard or two while on vacation and would usually not remember them until I was home and then what’s the point? Most of the postcards I have are promotional items that I kept because I’m a packrat. As a packrat I find it hard to rid myself of useless items. What if I need it someday?

So I’ve come up with a plan that rids me of these cards and provides me a way to say thanks to my readers, the Postcard Dispersal Project. Basically, you send me your address; I’ll send you a postcard with a little sketch on it.

The PDP serves three functions
1. I put these postcards to use
2. Readers get a little thank-you sketch in the mail, and who doesn’t like to get something nifty in the mail? Especially if it's on a random postcard.
3. I usually do a little warm-up sketch before drawing so it helps me prepare before starting a strip

If you want one, it’s free. I’m even going to pay for postage. Just send your mailing address to mac(at)billanderik(dot)com along with the name of one of the strip’s characters or even a Marvel comics character (if I’m not doodling Bill, Erik or Big Satan, I’m usually sketching a quick Spidey, Cap or Wolverine, so why not, eh?). This should go without saying, but I will not give out your addresses to any sort of mailing list or even keeping your email once I’ve sent the postcard. I have a lot of postcards but once I run out this project is over. Limit one per person/address.

Thanks for reading - Mac
